Care for your loved ones unless it becomes too late....

A very touching story that I came across on the internet. A very touching story........

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For
many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's
showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told
him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited
signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the
morning of his graduation his father called him into his private
study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine
son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son
a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man
opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily,
he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you
give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy
book.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in
business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his
father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He
had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make
arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had
passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He
needed to come home immediately and take care things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and
regret filled his heart.
He began to search his father's important papers and
saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With
tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he
read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible.

It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the
sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation,
and the words...PAID IN FULL.

GOD sends us gifts in different forms. All we need to do is to recognize them.

GOD gives something to everyone...... not everything to someone

This is a reply which Aurtur Ashe, the legendary tennis player gave when asked by a reporter on how he felt while he was gradually dying from AIDS.

"The world over - 50 million children start playing tennis,

5 million learn to play tennis,

500,000 learn professional tennis,

50,000 come to the circuit,

5000 reach the grand slam,

50 reach Wimbledon,

4 to semi final,

2 to the finals,

when I was holding a cup I never asked GOD ‘Why me?’.

And today in pain I should not be asking GOD ‘Why me?’ "

One should be grateful to GOD for all the bounties he  has bestowed upon us instead of cursing him for something that we do not possess. We should realize how lucky we  are with all the luxuries of life bestowed upon us in one form or the other.

A story that keeps me driving ahead...... must read in times of depression

This is a story which i came across while I was preparing for a story recitation competition in my school. At that time I just mugged it up but later realized that it was relevant with respect to our lives too. Here it is......
Once upon a time there were two frogs. One day they both fell in a bucket full of milk. They both tried to stay afloat by swimming but were soon tired. One of them lost hope and drowned. The other meanwhile kept trying all night. He tried and tried and churned the milk into a small piece of butter which floated on the top of the bucket. In the morning he was sitting on top of the block of butter and eating the flies that were coming nearby.

What I learnt was that One should keep working hard and worry little about the outcome. The results will follow.
